My name is Jenn. I’m a photographer based in a small mountain town near Aspen, Colorado, and my main photography love is your love.
But I’m not here to just capture these once-in-a-lifetime moments. The other half of my role for you is being the adventure buddy who hypes you, encourages you, guides you, and genuinely cares about your preferences and story. There are a lot of details that go into that one epic shot, but that’s for me to take on, and you to relax. Seriously, we’re gonna make the wedding planning fun. No way? Yahweh. Jesus is my jam—couldn’t help myself!
Having lived in Colorado for over a decade and frequently hopping over to Utah for desert adventure, I’ve got a backpack full of secret spots, amazing vendors, and epic activities I’m just waiting to share with you. Our wedding required a photographer to wake up early, hike up hill with gear AND rappel through a canyon with that gear. Jen's athleticism, can do attitude and keen eye for color, light and angle made her the perfect photographer for our wedding. She went out of her way to capture small moments and candid interactions to ensure that we could go back and revisit that day with a clarity I have yet to see matched. We had such a great day with Jenn and the photos turned out amazing ! 😊 She organized a super fun day in multiple great locations and set up a picnic for us to enjoy. My partner and I were both worried about being in front of the camera the whole day but she made the day extremely relaxing and pleasant! She directed us when we needed directions and otherwise captured us being silly and in our most candid moments which felt very authentic. We had time to enjoy the nature and each other and her flexibility with the plan made it for a lot of fun moments, relaxing down time, and some very awesome photos! Super thankful for her talent and personality and her planning. As someone who has summitted many of Colorado’s 14,000-foot mountains, hiked miles in deserts, jungles, and snowy terrain with a heavy pack, and climbed in and out of canyons for the shot: neither height, nor depth, nor distance will deter me from getting the wild, epic photos you’ve been dreaming of! I have a deep understanding of different destinations during different times of the year, and love seeking out the more hidden, extraordinary spots—away from crowds and cliches.

From detailed itineraries, packing tips, and travel guidance, to extra snacks and rain coats, I’m your Mary Poppins for the unexpected. But here’s another honest truth: the BEST photos often come from the unexpected!

Feeling overwhelmed? I’ve got you. Next to getting the best photos possible for you is my desire to create an experience where you feel comfortable, supported, prepared, and confident. I’m here for you for any questions, concerns, or ideas throughout the process—like the best friend you didn’t know you needed! I’m also working behind the scenes to make sure all the details are hashed out, and finding little ways to personalize your experience. Additionally, I provide assistance in planning, permits, and connections to vendors.
I’m always here for you
From deserts to tundras to mountains to oceans—how amazing is it that we can all enjoy these stunning landscapes! When you book with me, you’re booking with someone who knows what to look out for in local terrain—things like trail restoration, cryptobiotic soil, sand dunes, land permits, and rock scree. I aim to get us to those less-traveled places while respecting the environment and honoring the leave-no-trace principle for minimizing human impact in the outdoors.
I’m conscious of our steps
Sure, the location, activities, and atmosphere will be incredible! But the most important thing I aim to document is your story together. I don’t want you to just see these photographs years later; I want you to feel them. So before we even begin our journey, I’ll get to know more about you two and your vision together. I’ll ask questions and go over ideas, but most importantly, I’ll listen. I want this journey to be a positive and memorable effect long after the day ends.
