My cameras and I have been some places

But photography isn't really my story, it's yours.

Hi, I’m Jenn—the photographer and storyteller behind SoJourney Photography, based near Aspen in the stunning Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado. I specialize in adventure photography for couples, elopements, and intimate celebrations in wild, meaningful places. Whether you’re exchanging vows on a windy ridgeline, hiking hand-in-hand through a desert canyon, or simply soaking in time together, my goal is to capture the heart of your story with presence, warmth, and intention.

The heart behind my work is simple: your moments matter. I believe photography is about more than just beautiful images—it’s about preserving the emotion, connection, and presence of your story. Every couple I work with has their own rhythm, journey, and spark, and I feel deeply honored to document even a small part of it.

The word SoJourney is inspired by the Biblical word sojourn—a temporary stay, a journey with meaning. In our daily lives, this can be applied to our wanderings, trials, and triumphs. This is also applied to our time on earth as we seek and prepare for the next one (Hebrews 11:13-16). Small- or large-scaled, ultimately our moments are numbered, and what we do matters. Our journeys matter! It’s this truth that drives me to document the moments that are real and fleeting. From mountaintops to milestone days, I’m here to remind you: this part of your story is worth remembering. And I'm grateful that part of your story becomes a part of mine.

When I’m not photographing elopements or road-tripping to a hidden trailhead, you’ll find me snowboarding, paddleboarding, hiking Colorado’s 14ers, or ice-climbing frozen waterfalls with my adventurous partner-in-crime. I eat popcorn probably too much (it’s a vegetable in my world!), enjoy windy, sunshine drives in my ‘97 turquoise Jeep, and have two sweet, harness-trained felines who have taken to the trails with me (and one recently to paddleboarding!). I love quiet mornings to journal and pray, a good historical fiction or fantasy book to indulge in, any tropical drink with coconut, and deep conversations that fuel my spirit.

If you’re planning an adventure elopement in Colorado, Utah, or beyond, I’d love to connect. Browse my portfolio to see some of the beautiful, candid moments I’ve captured—then chat with me about capturing your own!

In addition to showcasing your moments, I love sharing moments of God’s stunning handiwork in nature on high-definition, metal prints. Head over to my shop to check them out!
